Amber Brooke Farms are family-owned and operated 100-acre u-pick and commercial farm just 2 hours from Jacksonville. They specialize in strawberries, blueberries, peaches, sunflowers, & zinnias.

Bekemeyer Family Farm

Bekemeyer Family Farm is located just north of Orlando, and is about a 2 hour drive from Jacksonville. They offer a vibrant u-pick & farm stand offering strawberries, citrus, peaches, and a variety of fresh vegetables.

Brown’s Farm

Brown’s Farm is one our favorites to visit, and just a 90 minute drive from Jacksonville, it makes it one of the closest farms for strawberry picking in North Florida. Brown’s Farm offers u-pick strawberries and a variety of other fruits and vegetables available for purchase.

Crossroads Farm & Apiary

Crossroads Farm & Apiary (formerly Roger’s Farm) is a family owned and operated farm located in Gainesville. It’s located just an hour and half from Jacksonville and offers u-pick strawberries and fresh seasonal produce. Be sure to check their Facebook page for crop updates.

Hathy’s Hilltop Produce

Hathy’s Hilltop Produce is a smaller farm, but location makes it a great spot to visit. Just a little over an hour from Jacksonville, Hathy’s offers strawberries exclusively, but be sure to check their Facebook page for crop updates.

Merck Farms

Merck Farms is a locally owned farm located on the St. Mary’s River in Kingsland, GA. Their mission is to grow fresh fruits and vegetables, and provide them to the community. Located just an hour north of Jacksonville, this farm makes a great spot for a short day trip with the kids. Mick Farms

Mick Farms is one of our furthest farms on our list for strawberry picking. It’s just south of Orlando, and a little over 2 hours from Jacksonville. While it may seem far, it’s great to work into part of a day trip from Jacksonville. Because it’s located further south, their berries are often some of the first in the area to be ready for picking.

Oak Haven Farms and Winery

Oak Haven Farms and Winery is a u-pick strawberry farm, vineyard and on site winery. They are located about 2 hours from Jacksonville, just north of Orlando. On the weekends, during strawberry season, they offer strawberry shortcake, sundaes, u-roast hot dogs.

Pappy’s Patch

Pappy’s Patch has reopen in 2024. Located in Oviedo, Florida, this u-pick farm is family owned and has sweet, juicy berries available from December through April. Check their social media pages for exact times and pricing.

Southern Hill Farms

Bradford County Strawberry Festival is an outdoor event with over 200 food and craft vendors. The festival is located on the Fair Grounds on US 301 North of Starke and is a little over an hour from Jacksonville.

Clay County Strawberry Festival
