Cabins & Teepees for Camping

Besides tent and pull-through RV sites, KOA Holiday offers multiple cabins and unique teepee stays. From rustic to deluxe cabins there is sure to be a perfect fit for your family or you can choose to stay in a teepee. My family chose to stay in a four-person teepee. It was a completely unique and fun experience. The teepees are on a wooden platform, you will find beds, a mini-fridge, and a portable ac/heater inside the cozy space. The teepees are tucked away from the other sites under the tall Georgia pines. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. The cabins and teepee options make this KOA a great spot for a quick getaway from Jacksonville.

Splash All Day

The onsite pool was a favorite with my daughters. Complete with a waterfall and a 50-foot water slide we spent many hours playing and lounging by the pool. On weekends the poolside tiki bar is also available for drink purchases. In the cooler months, the pool is heated making this a year round destination.

There’s Tons of Family Fun while You’re Teepee Camping

Your kiddos will have no reason to be bored while staying at this park. Campground guests have unlimited access to the onsite miniature golf course and the jumping pad. There is also a playground located by the pool that has horseshoes, corn hole, ladder toss, and volleyball. Rain on your stay or need a break from the heat? Make sure to check out the game room complete with vintage video games or shoot a game of pool. Throughout the year KOA Holiday hosts hayrides, bingo, campfires, and other activities.

Breakfast is Included in Your Teepee Adventure

When I read that KOA Holiday serves its campers a complimentary breakfast I wasn’t expecting just how yummy the breakfast would be. The whole family will enjoy all the options and fixings available. Choices include pancakes, waffles, and biscuits, and sausage gravy (pro tip: get the biscuits and gravy!) Besides breakfast, you probably will get hungry while playing all day, but don’t fret because there is no need to leave the park. There is a general store on-site full of food, from snacks and drinks to made-to-order pizza, wings, burgers, and more. The general store also has a bit of everything from souvenirs to camping items.
