Located in Jacksonville Beach and operating for over 50 years, Beach Bowl has been the main attraction center for recreational and competitive bowling in Jacksonville Beach. They offer Cosmic Bowling, a full service lounge offering nightly drink specials, and a game room full of action-hit arcade games. During the summer they participate in the free summer bowling program for kids!
Beaches Museum & History Park

The Beaches Museum is free for adults and kids to visit. You can stroll through different exhibits and learn about our beaches history. Be sure to check out their events calendar because the museum hosts several special events throughout the year.
Beaches Rock Gym
14 West 3rd Street, Atlantic Beach, FL
Beaches Rock Gym is a bouldering gym in Atlantic Beach, Florida. They love climbing and decided to build a gym to bring it to the beach community. Geared towards kids (and adults) ages 6 and up, they update their routes regularly so kids will never get bored.
Chick-fil-A Marsh Landing Parkway

If you want to let the kids run around and play while you enjoy a coffee or frosted lemonade, then head to Chick-fil-A. It’s the perfect place to grab lunch and let the kids burn off some steam. Don’t forget, Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays.
The Greenhouse Playhouse

If you’re looking for a beautiful and clean place to take your little kids, be sure to check out The Greenhouse Playhouse. Designed for kids 5 and under, they have a custom water table, wooden play structures, and ball pit. You pay per visit so no membership is required.
Jax Beaches Branch Library
600 3rd Street, Neptune Beach, FL
The Jax Beach Library offers a variety of story time and after school programs as well as special summer reading activities for kids. In the large children’s section they offer books, puzzles and other activities to keep the kids busy. Be sure to check hours before heading over, the Beaches Library is closed on Sunday and Monday.

With a separate section for little kids, Jumpstreet is a great place for kids to burn off some energy. This indoor trampoline park has something for kids off all ages and pricing is scaled depending on your child’s age.
Ponte Vedra Branch Library

The Ponte Vedra Library offers programs from babies through teens with topics ranging from story time to gaming clubs. During the summer there’s a wide variety of programing that encourages kids to keep reading when school is out. The library is closed on Sunday.

One of our favorite Jacksonville indoor play areas for kids is Bay & Bee. Bay & Bee is a locally owned eco- friendly indoor play space and shop inspired by Montessori and Waldorf educational principles to create a wonderful play environment. Their play area is perfect for little kids, under the age of 5.
