Looking to take your daughter out for a real tea party experience? Or, maybe your addicted to Downton Abbey and are wanting to try out “high tea” for yourself. Maybe you just love good tea, but whatever the reason, Ashes Boutique & Tea Room in Jacksonville Beach will give you all the perfect tea vibes.

First, let me say I recommend making reservations. It’s possible during the school year on a weekday they are slower, but as it is a small tea room with limited seating they can fill up fast. As you walk in, you go through the and adorable local store in the front with beautiful clothing, baby gifts, decorative items for the home and of course, tea that you can buy. The seating area is in the back with white walls, white linens, a very bright, airy and beautiful space as if you are in a garden room with a hint of antique charm.

Ashes Tea Room is Perfect for Lunch

The menu is limited, but if there are two of you, I recommend getting the Afternoon Tea Tray. You each get to choose a tea (I completely recommend the Wedding Tea), then are provided small tea sandwiches, cheese and crackers and a small dessert assortment at the end. The pimento cheese on croissant and the cucumber sandwich were my favorites.

If you are with little ones, there is a Kids Tray complete with lemonade or hot coca and fancy PB&J, other kid friendly sandwiches and kid friendly desserts, or a Mommy and Me Tray with an assortment for both of you.

If neither of the trays sound appealing, they do have other sandwiches, salads, soups and such to choose from.

Ashes Tea Room Birthday Party Venue in Jacksonville Beach, FL

Ashes Boutique & Tea Room also hosts parties and would be perfect for a Bridal or Baby Shower or even a birthday party. Better yet, make a reservation for your next girl’s event. My daughters both LOVED our experience and are definitely looking forward to going back one day.
