For over 30 years one of the top animatronic companies has been located right here in Jacksonville. Sally Robotics produces rides, animatronics and interactive gaming for some of the top theme parks around the world. And here’s the great news, you can take a guided tour of their facility for free.

Tour Sally Robotics for Free

Your free guided tour through Sally Robotics begins with some interactive gaming and a little bit about the history of the company. Tours are available free of charge on Tuesdays and Thursdays hourly from 9am to 1pm. There’s a limit of 30 people per tour and you need to reserve it in advance on their website. Also important, kids must be 7 or older to go on the tour. In addition, there are no tours June, July or August.

Go Behind the Scenes

There are lots of areas on the tour where you can’t take pictures because the items being worked on are top secret. Throughout the tour you get to see the behind the scenes process for creating animatronics as well as large scale rides. Since this is an actual working production facility you never know what will be on the factory floor for you to see. Be sure to make a stop at the bathroom during your visit and if you have kids with you, let them try to open the robot door!

  2. Is Sally Robotics doing tours on 12/27/22 and 12/29/22 this year? If so, how do I reserve. Cannot find where to register on the website
    and not sure if it is open yet, since it was closed for covid
