Remember when it used to be a thing to make fun of your town? Well that’s a thing of the past, loving where you live is pretty easy here in Jax. With a football team that crushed it last year, beautiful beaches, parks and other outdoor areas to explore, and new businesses popping up like crazy, Jax is a pretty rad place to be. We found some accessories (JAXssories anyone?) to help us show pride for our city.
It’s cool to be literal with your Jax pride, because after all, Jax IS Rad. Seeing these graphic stickers pasted to local signage and coffeehouse laptops piqued our interest. Jax is Rad is not only apparel but a way to showcase local artists and business owners.
The ubiquitous JAX hat, we all want to be individuals, but we also ALL want this hat. It’s cute, ya’ll. If you’d like to shop local and not order online, these hats can be found at various boutiques and small shops around town, including Fig & Willow in Atlantic Beach.
Beyou jewelry was launched by a local Jax Beach mom in 2016 drawing inspiration from nature, the beach and a love for the water. Give us all the waves and sea-blue please.
These shirts and accessories are designed by our very own Jacksonville Beach Mom team. Whether you’re looking for apparel for men, women, or kids, there’s a little something for everyone who calls Jacksonville home.
Sidney Cardel’s beautifully currated shop carries a unique line jewelry made with actual sand from Jacksonville, Neptune or Atlantic Beach. It’s the perfect Jaxcessory for anyone who loves Jacksonville Beach.
Did you know Jacksonville Beach had their own baseball team from 1952 to 1954? The Sea Birds played in the Class D Florida State League at their home park, Municipal Stadium, which was located on South Penman Road.

We love all the things Jaguar printed, add a pop of teal and call it a (game) day. You can find everything here (from left to right) suit, earrings, scarf, dress, shoes, wrap shirt, tank.

Ok, so maybe sometimes we like to poke fun at our town. Only in Duval prides themselves on bringing you the very best (and a little of the worst) from the 904. Their shirts celebrate Duval in a way that true locals can appreciate.
Mattie Shepherd moved to Jax Beach from Cincinnati about 3 years ago. She was a school psychologist for 9 years and enjoys using behaviorism on her husband and 2 daughters (JK, kind of). Mattie co-leads a Daisy Troop, is very proud to be on PTA board and cheers LOUDLY watching her daughter play ALL the sports. Mattie loves exploring Jax, especially in search of parks, coffee, cocktails and delish food. At home, she likes baking with her girls, dreaming of buying a fixer upper and covering it with #shiplap, and cropping messes out of her Instagram shots.
