There is counter service ordering and then your food is brought out to the table. Dockside is a noisier restaurant making it perfect for young kids.

Dockside Seafood offers beer and wine as well as a free refill on fountain drinks. They do not have a full bar, so there aren’t any fun cocktails to try. All kids’ baskets include a beverage.

As the name indicates, Dockside Seafood in Jacksonville Beach is known for their fresh seafood. They pride themselves on locally sourced, fresh seafood that is passionately prepared. Whether you prefer it fried, grilled, blackened or broiled, Dockside is sure to deliver your favorite foods, cooked they way you like. For kids they offer several options, including chicken fingers and grilled cheese for those picky eaters who might night like seafood.

Dockside Seafood can get crowded so the best time to go is off hours. Arriving either early or late for lunch or even an early dinner can be your best bet, especially if you’re dining with kids. During peak times there can be a long wait and you’ll have difficulty finding a good seat on the porch. Dockside offers valet parking for free, which is a nice perk because the parking lot can be difficult to navigate. Lastly, the attire is very casual. You’ll see lots of people stoping by on their way back from the beach or after a day of boating.
